CrySystem.dll is considered a type of Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file. Dynamic Link Library files, like CrySystem.dll, are essentially a "guide book" that stores information and instructions for executable (EXE) files - like Setup.exe - to follow. These files were created so that multiple programs (eg. Far Cry 2) could share the same CrySystem.dll file, saving valuable memory allocation, therefore making your computer run more efficiently.
Unfortunately, what makes DLL files so convenient and efficient, also makes them extremely vulnerable to problems. If something happens to a shared DLL file, either it goes missing or gets corrupted in some way, it can generate a "runtime" error message. Runtime is pretty self-explanatory; it means that these errors are triggered when CrySystem.dll is attempted to be loaded either when Far Cry 2 is starting up, or in some cases already running. Some of the most common CrySystem.dll errors include:
Your CrySystem.dll file could be missing due to accidental deletion, uninstalled as a shared file of another program (shared with Far Cry 2), or deleted by a malware infection. Furthermore, CrySystem.dll file corruption could be caused from a power outage when loading Far Cry 2, system crash while loading CrySystem.dll, bad sectors on your storage media (usually your primary hard drive), or quite commonly, a malware infection. Thus, it's critical to make sure your anti-virus is kept up-to-date and scanning regularly.
If you're encountering one of the error messages above, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve your CrySystem.dll issue. These troubleshooting steps are listed in the recommended order of execution.
When the first two steps haven't solved your issue, it might be a good idea to run Windows Update. Many CrySystem.dll error messages that are encountered can be contributed to an outdated Windows Operating System. To run Windows Update, please follow these easy steps:
If none of the previous three troubleshooting steps have resolved your issue, you can try a more aggressive approach (Note: Not recommended for amateur PC users) by downloading and replacing your appropriate CrySystem.dll file version. We maintain a comprehensive database of 100% malware-free CrySystem.dll files for every applicable version of Far Cry 2. Please follow the steps below to download and properly replace you file:
GEEK TIP : We must emphasize that reinstalling Windows will be a very time-consuming and advanced task to resolve CrySystem.dll problems. To avoid data loss, you must be sure that you have backed-up all of your important documents, pictures, software installers, and other personal data before beginning the process. If you are not currently backing up your data, you need to do so immediately.
CAUTION : We strongly advise against downloading and copying CrySystem.dll to your appropriate Windows system directory. Ubisoft typically does not release Far Cry 2 DLL files for download because they are bundled together inside of a software installer. The installer's task is to ensure that all correct verifications have been made before installing and placing CrySystem.dll and all other DLL files for Far Cry 2. An incorrectly installed DLL file may create system instability and could cause your program or operating system to stop functioning altogether. Proceed with caution.

Thanks for replying. But crysystem.dll is not natively in any version of windows. Its a mix of CRY - Cryengine (engine the game uses) and System (because dev chose to do so). And it sits on both bin32 and bin64 folders of aion classic. Windows files themselves you cant really download from random third party sites like dll-files , especially with no information about the uploader. My question still stands, how do i fix this problem if this is not the solution? Is there any Community manager?
I actually just finished reinstalling the launcher and the game 5 minutes ago, but it still gives me the same error. Even when installing them into recommended or diffferent directories. Maybe you could also tell me your directories ? But dont think it would matter. there has to be something that prevents crysystem.dll from loading on demand.
Iv been working as IT + pc engineer for over 15 years now and when i tell you that installing ESET for example will probalby find a few tracking cookies at most, you will not believe me right? I would have known my pc has a virus if i clicked every random ad on po*n sites, scammy websites.. click random links and download files into system folders from dll-files.com like mister @coheed recommended. NO offense. Id like to skip this step as its a waste of time and does not guarantee a fix. But if you really demand it i dont have a choice and can try..
Like i said i think it might be something related with file/folder permissions at the games folder destination and the launcher or just poor coding of the nc launcher or booting up process of the game which then cannot install/bypass those rights or other limits by default into the correct way that they should be set. And once it realizes the game cant read from certain files (in our case crysystem.dll) it pops up that error message, im just giving examples , but this kind of issue seems much more likely then "restart your pc , turn off antivirus" to me
I understand you don't want to download random .dll files - but you should look at this site. It explains a bit about your issue and common problems.. and if you scroll down you will actually see a CrySystem.dll download specifically for the Aion game client. Can you not just download the file, quarantine and scan before you copy the file into the correct directory?
It is just the source application that is having an issue, not necessarily the cause. the cause is crysystem.dll as seen on the screenshot. I get what you mean, if i rename it to .old and things like that, its the same effect as removing the whole bin32 or bin32 and just runing file scan on the launcher to redownload all the files. Also aion.bin is the "exe" the main boot up process of the game because it has no real executable and without it the game will not start.. yes only aion doesnt have an .exe file strangely.
Manually replacing the CrySystem.dll file is probably be the best way to repair the error. You need to obtain a fresh copy of the dll file and register it onto your Windows system. Follow these steps to resolve the error:
This zip files contains the "msvcp71.dll" and the "msvcr71.dll" for the FarCry "Bin32/" directory. It's needed when FarCry doesn't start up and prints a message saying that one of these DLL files are missing.
Most amd_ags_x64.dll errors are the result of missing or corrupt versions of the DLL file that was bundled with Devil May Cry 5. As a first troubleshootiong step, most PC professionals will attempt to replace the applicable version of the DLL file. In addition, if your amd_ags_x64.dll error was due to a removed malware infection, we recommend running a registry scan to clean up any invalid file path references created by the malicious program. 2ff7e9595c
