To honour the life and work of Nujabes, one of the most beloved beatmakers of all time, we welcome London-based ensemble Stompy's Playground who specialise in recreating electronic music using a combination of orchestral instruments, synthesizers and drum kits. Sitting as hip-hop royalty alongside J Dilla in the pantheon of 20th century beats producers. Spanning not just hip-hop but nu-jazz, breakbeat, trip hop and much more, Nujabes's work is dense in its orchestration and musicality making it perfect for this kind of reinterpretation.
